Strategies Toward Safe and Secure 21st Century Schools

  • Description: This session is an exploration of recent design strategies to enhance school safety and security while maintaining open and transparent 21st Century educational environments. We will examine the approach to school security design that came out working with the Littleton Public Schools. This process included a collaborative effort between multiple design firms, the school district, and recognized security experts. We will look at RTA’s strategies that have been developed over time as we explore case studies from recent projects and talk with industry recognized security experts.
