How to Enhance the Safety and Security of Your School Campuses

  • Description: The Partner Alliance for Safer Schools is a 501c3 dedicated to providing resources to help schools navigate the complexity of forming a comprehensive safety and security plan. The PASS Guidelines and Checklist were developed to provide administrators with the means to effectively evaluate safety and security infrastructure already in place, prioritize investments and maximize safety and security gained by leveraging available resources. The Guidelines and Checklist identify and classify best practices for securing K12 facilities in response to the urgent needs identified by the educational community. Learn about what other schools have done, how to avoid pitfalls and develop plans that are specific and appropriate to your facility's unique needs.
