Going Back to School: An Approach to Post-occupancy Evaluation in the Pandemic

  • Description: Indoor environmental quality (IEQ) is a primary concern in schools for optimum student health and performance, which gained heightened awareness and importance during the COVID-9 pandemic. This session will present an overview of the development of a methodology to perform IEQ post-occupancy evaluation research in schools. It will focus on thermal comfort and indoor air quality in the context of the pandemic and familiarize the attendees with some of the methods and tools used for this kind of research in school facilities.
