Building Happiness: Creating Impactful Environments For Our Youngest Learners

  • Description: Design solutions for Early Childhood environments continue to evolve with each new generation. These sensory-rich, instructional venues must be constantly re-evaluated to remain relevant and become the beautiful backdrop which supports our youngest learners in reaching their full academic, social/ emotional and physical potential. In this seminar, we will identify the key considerations used in designing educational environments for students 3 -5 years of age and explore how design thinking has responded to the specific characteristics of the current generation entering and making its way through our public school systems.
