Design Engagement for the Multicultural High School Community

  • Description: Our 2019 EDspaces conference session focused on the authentic engagement strategies for a multi-cultural 300,000 sf high school, where a strong sense of community brings together a school population of 30 spoken languages. After six years of design and construction and one year of occupancy, the team will present a comprehensive post-occupancy study of how the goals and aspirations of the community were realized and how they are perceived by the users today. We’ll facilitate an interactive session with attendees to explore alternative engagement tools that result in design approaches that meet core stakeholder goals around diversity, equity and inclusion.
