EDspaces 2022 EDsession Program & Schedule

Taking “Nature” to the Next Step – What Works and What Doesn’t

  • Description: Hear the results of a Post Occupancy Evaluation of Madrona K-8 a school that fully embraced outdoor learning. The POE research is being supported by a national grant from the LAF. We will also provide a brief synopsis of national guidelines for Outdoor Learning published this year. The last half of the session will be devoted to critiquing projects that participants share in which they are including outdoor learning spaces. We will share current best practices based on guidelines and provide suggestions for how they can be applied to participant’s examples.
