Wellness Matters!

  • Description: Students arrive at school with real challenges. How can we design built and natural environments that foster positive outcomes for students, such as healthy body/mind, quality of life, social support, sense of belonging and connectedness, goal attainment, joy, and other positive emotions? The session aims to inspire the creation of an accessible and integrated resource place for wellness on all school campuses. Integrating active design, wellness services, respite areas, social support hubs, and fitness in one location offers a holistic approach.
